I know we've been talking a lot recently, and I know everything generally hasn't been very pleasant lately, but-

You're not alone.

I want you to know that. I need to take care of myself, but I can do that without withdrawing completely from you. You don't deserve to be alone. You deserve to be loved and supported, and recognized for everything you do. You do a lot. I see that. Your friends see that, too.

I'm sorry for my shortcomings, and I'm sorry for the struggles but...

My therapist gave me a few tips for when I feel similarly to how I think you're feeling.

I don't want you to feel forced at all. Do it if you want to. I just want to help somehow and, this is one idea for that.
• Visualization is probably my preferred choice among these, personally. Essentially, just listen to music or sit quietly and try to clear your mind and focus on something in specific. You can visualize something peaceful, or maybe something fun/that you want to do.
• Of course, there's also meditation,
• And one I tend to do more out of habit than because I'm following my therapist, which is journalling.
• I know I've brought it up to you before, and you didn't really want to. Me bringing it up again isn't me trying to force you. I want you to know that; I also want you to know that writing out all these negative or suffocating thoughts is helpful to keeping you from feeling disillusioned. Even if it's hard.
